Our Beers
Lidstones Rowley Mild (3.2% ABV) – Chocolate and toffee aromas lead into a rich and flavoursome ale for its strength. This is a dark mild. The finish is pleasantly bittersweet.
Champion mild of Britain at the 2003 GBBF and overall second runner-up.
Foresters Bitter (3.7% ABV) – Aromas are fresh and hoppy, this is a straw-coloured ale with a great balance of malt and hops – an ideal session bitter.
Semer Water (4.1% ABV) – Clean, crisp and hoppy, this is a light, golden ale and a very moreish best bitter.
Coverdale Gamekeeper (4.3% ABV) – Copper coloured with big, spicy aroma and juicy malt leading to a bitterweet finish with citrus notes
Black Dub Oat Stout (4.4% ABV) – Black and nourishing with a rich concentration of malt, this moreish stout is enriched with roasted barley chocolate malt and malted oats.
Sheep Rustler Nut Brown Ale (4.4% ABV) – Dark, ruby brown traditional northern brown ale with great balance of malt and hops where malt predominates.
Coverdale Poacher (5.0% ABV) – It has a rich and tempting aroma with apples and bitter oranges with good balancing malty sweetness.
Seasonal ale
Beaters’ Winter Ale (8.0% ABV) – A rich, dark, ruby colour with a thick, creamy head, vinous and bitter plum aromas blend with rich, fruity sweetness suggesting honey and figs with rum soaked raisins. There is a lovely, lingering bitterness which rounds off this old ale style beer.
